The Dakar is a great alternative to the Corsica awning for those looking to shade those larger terraces. Its full cassette offers complete protection to your awning fabric while rolled up but unlike the Corsica, the Dakar comes with a removable valance to offer that extra sun protection.

Manual or Motorised
We understand this may be a decision you didn’t think about making so here is a quick overview of so you can make an informed decision.
- Motorised awnings can be controlled with the touch of a button from the comforts inside your home – no standing outside in the rain using a bulky manual crank handle to bring your awning back in during that summer storm.

- 3 manual crack handle lengths are available- 150cm, 180cm & 220cm. This can be discussed with a member of our team.
Our advisor will advise if they feel manual or motorised will be the best option for you, but we normally recommend motorised for their ease, optional extras and especially if being used on a larger size awning as these can be quite bulky and difficult to open.
