The Dakar is a great alternative to our Corsica awning for those looking for a full cassette awning but not the price tag. The awning offers the same full cassette body ensuring protection to your awning fabric while rolled up but unlike the Corsica, the Dakar can come as manual, with a removable valance to offer that extra sun protection & without the LED backbar. This is the only option where you have the option of adding telescopic pole supports that can increase its wind resistance.
All our awnings are made up of powder-coated aluminium so if your awning is closed it also encases your fabric fully meaning your product has resistance against the traditional British weather for years to come. This product comes in both manual & motorised meaning you don’t have to compromise on your product use throughout the years, more information on this can be found below.
With this product, you will receive 5-year parts and components guarantee which does include your awning cloth.

Manual Awnings – These are great solution for those who are wanting a shading solution that does not require an electrical connection. With our manual awnings you have a choice of 3 crack handle lengths of 150cm, 180cm & 220cm depending on how high your awning needs to be fitted to get the best solution for you.
Motorised Awnings – Electrical awnings are great and can be controlled with the touch of a button resulting in a extra layer of comfort. With our range of motorised awnings there is no standing outside in the rain using a crank handle to bring your awning back in, it can all be done at the press of the button. Unsure on what the best option would be for you & your home? No problem, our friendly team are very knowledgeable and more than happy to advise if manual or motorised would be the best solution for you. We would normally recommend motorised for their ease, optional extras and especially if being used on a larger size awning as these can be quite bulky and difficult to open.
Awning Body & Fabric Colours
We completely understand your awning needs to be unique for your home so with a choice of 5 body colours awning excluding Black (RAL9005MAT) and over 150 fabric colours to choose from you will not be limited on choice.
All of our awning bodies are made of Power Coated Aluminium meaning they are lightweight but strong and will not corrode like other metals.
Our large range of awning fabrics are made of acrylic to provide protection against UV radiation and thermal comfort. All fabrics are all impregnated with the use of Teflon or Scotch Guard agents to provide an excellent protective barrier and strengthen the water-repellent qualities.
